IdeaTek Is Bringing Fiber Internet To Maize, Kansas
MAIZE, Kansas – Super-fast fiber internet service will soon be available to hundreds of Maize families and businesses, thanks to IdeaTek.
The Buhler-based internet company began construction in the city last fall, promising unlimited and uncapped speeds of up to 2.5 gigabits per second. IdeaTek’s 100-percent fiber investment connects over 800 Maize homes and businesses to fiber. Crews will begin connecting residences this spring.
To celebrate, the company will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony during the Maize business luncheon on Feb. 26.

Investment in fiber is a scalable solution for Kansas’ future growth. Community Investment
